Start with the name, then review the batch

Boz and Gül names provide a starting point for comparing our products. Batches sold under the same name can still differ in appearance. Specify your expectations for colour distribution, kernel size and whole-kernel proportion separately. This guide describes the names used in the A&B catalogue; it does not establish equivalent grades across different suppliers.

How Boz 1 and Boz 2 differ

In our catalogue, Boz 1 is the kernel option with no or very little red colouring. Boz 2 contains a small amount of red colouring. Ask for current photographs taken under comparable lighting. Consider the green kernel interior separately from the outer skin colour, and review an overall batch view as well as close-ups. A single selected kernel cannot represent the distribution across an entire order.

Comparing Gül 1 and Gül 2

The Gül range is associated with a bright red appearance. Do not choose Gül 1 or Gül 2 solely by the number in its name. Compare the photographs on the respective product pages and confirm the current batch colour distribution, kernel structure and suitability with us. Do not assume a fixed colour percentage or an identical kernel size for every batch.

Choosing for baklava, chocolate and pastry

Tell us whether the kernels will be used whole, chopped or ground. Visible decoration and an ingredient mixed into a filling can call for different appearance requirements. Explain the colour and texture you need for baklava, chocolate, pastry, künefe or ice cream. Assess a sample in your own recipe and production process rather than assuming that one grade will perform identically in every application.

Review photographs and discuss samples

Review an overall product view before examining kernel details. Lighting and screen settings can affect perceived colour. Discuss your sample requirements, quantity and destination with us; sample arrangements are agreed separately. Confirm the accepted product characteristics and the batch allocated to your order in writing before shipment. This helps keep your purchasing expectations and the agreed supply aligned.

Packaging and your quotation

Our standard kernel packaging is 2 × 10 kg vacuum packs in a 20 kg carton. For a quotation, send the product name, application, estimated quantity and delivery city or country. Current prices, minimum orders, available batches and delivery terms are discussed for your enquiry. Follow the product links to compare options, or contact us directly on WhatsApp.
